How To Rearm Office 2019
Part 1: Check the Office License Status. To get started, open the Command Prompt as administrator. Navigate to the Microsoft Office program folder using the cd command. The subfolder varies depending on your Office version: Office 2016 / 2019: C: Program Files Microsoft Office Office16 or C: Program Files (x86) Microsoft Office Office16. To rearm Office 2013 only takes a few steps. Firstly, visit the following folder. On 64-bit systems: C: Program Files Common Files Microsoft Shared. This article contains information for administrators about configuring the Provisioning Services 5.6 Service Pack 1 (or later) Target Devices that are using Microsoft Key Management Server (KMS) for best fit in their environment. Rearm Office 2019? Rearm Office 2019? For some reason this morning my office suite has become unactivated. It seems that MS support for MSO home and Business 2019 is some weird product MS doesn't even recognize and it constantly tries to shift me to the business support where they want a one-time charge of $400. That is more than the cost of the software and not acceptable as this is a personal computer, not a corporation. It's not office 365.
Deploying Office 2019 VL
Office 2019 now uses click-to-run technology instead of 'setup /admin' there are a few changes, probably for the best in the long run.
First you need to download to Office Deployment tool
This is a self extracting file that spits out setup.exe and 2 sample config files - one for 32-bit and one for 64-bit.
Edit the edition you want to download. If you want the Volume License version change the Product ID to 'ProPlus2019Volume'
You don't need to add Visio or Project as they are also downloaded.
Save the file and run 'setup.exe /download configuration-Office365-x64.xml'.
This will run in the background and download into a subfolder - Office.
Now you have the files you can make configurations using these resources
https://config.office.com/ - Spits out config files for Office 365 - At time of writing it isn't made for 2019 yet but should work ok.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/DeployOffice/office2019/deploy - Documentation on customising the confiuration files.
If you want a head start I've made config files for Office, Project and Visio - Download
Example - Office 32-Bit, exclude OneDrive and Skype, accept EULA, Silent install, some customisations from Config.office.com
To test your config files run setup.exe with the configure switch
setup.exe /configure configuration-OfficeProPlus-x86.xml
Create an application in SCCM - with your files.
Deployment type - Script Installer
For Detection Methods:
Office - 32-Bit: %ProgramFiles(x86)%Microsoft OfficerootOffice16Winword.exe
Office - 64-Bit: %ProgramFiles%Microsoft OfficerootOffice16WINWORD.EXE
Project - 32-Bit: %programfiles(x86)%Microsoft OfficerootOffice16WINPROJ.EXE
Project - 64-Bit: %ProgramFiles%Microsoft OfficerootOffice16WINPROJ.EXE
Visio - - 32-Bit: %programfiles(x86)%Microsoft OfficerootOffice16VISIO.EXE
Project - 64-Bit: %ProgramFiles%Microsoft OfficerootOffice16VISIO.EXE
Download the Volume license app http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=878fef7e-3f4d-4d22-a423-f447c0f5bfdd
On the KMS server run the exe.
Follow the Wizard Prompts
Get your Office 2019 KMS Key from your Key Holder

How To Rearm Office 2010
I have installed Office 2019 somewhat successfully in a non-persistent floating pool via Horizon View. All works fine after you hit the repair button pictured in the attachment. Anyone else getting this issue or know how to avoid it? It 'repairs' within a few seconds and closes down whatever you first opened. Then it works normal the second time you open it, whichever piece of office you launched first. Not sure if it's activation related or not.
I'm wondering if Citrix will update their office recipe soon with a new script too?
